Janelle is one of our Awesome 2011 Seniors. She is graduating from Faith Academy and I love her Senior Portraits. We did her session in one of our most popular locations, the Virginia Highlands here in Atlanta.

I am so excited to announce that we are updating all of our music files. Soon, we will exclusively be using music that is local to Atlanta for all of our slideshows. Keep on the lookout for our recommendations for our favorite local music artists! With this, we are also going to be creating many more slideshows just like this one. Also, we are going to make DVD slideshows to keep available for purchase.

Kaylee’s fabulous Senior Portraits were at the Virginia Highlands. She is a Senior Representative for Harrison High School for 2011. First, here are some of my favorite portraits of Kaylee:

She choose to keep pink and black as a central theme throughout all of the images, and in the long run, this is just wonderful because all of her portraits match so that she can use them in her enlargements. We got her awesome display pieces for mom’s home in a few days ago, and I am just so thrilled to share them.

Michael’s Senior Portraits | Stone Mountain, Ga

Here is Michael’s awesome Senior Portrait Session… we did these by the Grist Mill at Stone Mountain Park. Michael is one of our representatives for the 2011 graduating class at Grayson High School. Michael was really spectacular to work with and was a complete natural in front of the camera. (This is probably not how he would tell it! But, look at how much the camera loves him.) After we did our presentation meeting with his family, his little sister decided that she had to have portraits like these, too… so she is coming to our next Portrait Day, this Sunday, for her own session. Were looking forward to your session Savannah!

So, I designed these custom Senior Announcements for Michael and matching Thank You Notes. Aren’t they pretty!! I love doing design work. It makes me very happy.

Senior Portraits have been a blast this year! I can’t wait to get some blog posts up to showcase the new work we have been doing recently! We have been traveling all over metro Atlanta for the perfect locations to match our graduating senior’s taste.

Check out how stunningly beautiful Kelly from George Walton Academy’s Senior Portraits are. You can imagine how much I had as a Senior Portrait Photographer, which include, yes… THREE outfit changes! Kelly has been sharing these images with her friends on facebook, but I’ll sit down with them in person soon to help them create the perfect collection of portrait heirlooms to keep framed.

Caroline’s senior portrait session was so much fun to be a part of… she and her mom brought a whole bunch of clothes to Madison’s house… by the time I had finished Madi’s s senior session, they had a whole wardrobe set out on the table. This made it perfect for me to help them choose a good variety of outfits that are at the same time fun and timeless. We used three outfits for the whole session, a summer black dress, white pants with a striking pink top, and jeans and a super casual blue t-shirt. I think my favorite color on Caroline was the bright pink, though… we used the foliage in the yard for a perfect compliment.

At the beginning of the session, we did about 10 minutes of portraits of both girls together… they have been best friends for a very long time and their casual portraits shows off the very close bond that they share.

Honey is Madison’s dog and he somehow ended up with his own complete portrait session, completely compiled candidly while I was shooting Madison’s portraits… Even both mom’s got together to share in the love. They have actually also been friends for a very long time, and although the images really happened quite on the fly, these natural portraits are really going to be special for them.

Madison’s Senior Portraits | Marietta, Ga

I am so thrilled that we sent some love for senior portraits into the universe… we have been booking quite a handful of late and I am loving every minute of it. We shot Madison and Caroline’s sessions together, at Madison’s home.

These images are really exciting for me… and I have begun to develop a particular fondness for these senior sessions. I am really enjoying the process of shooting and editing the seniors we have been working with lately. Madison did such a great job at her session and these portraits really indicate something to me about her bright and nurturing character…

Madison had two casual outfits and then the last was pictures for her yearbook. We set up some lights at the house and spent about 15 minutes, which yielded her 10 expressions and poses to choose from.
