Welcome to My Blog!

As a photographer, I am romanticized by the smallest things... my portraits are about relationships: intimate, loving, imperfect and endlessly beautiful.  Weddings are a strength for me because they combine all of these traits of life into one glorious event. But I love to photograph anything from portraits of children, Seniors, Pets and even Boudoir images!

Some of my images are whimsical, some of my images are sentimental. All of my images are sincere... active and always filled with life. I both graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a BFA in Photography and have been photographing for around 5 years as a full time profession.

The images that I create for my clients will last for generations: they are once in a lifetime moments, glances and gestures.  We
specialize natural portrait, wedding and bridal photography. I love what I do and I am lucky to do it.

Recently, I've discovered that I love to create custom comissioned painted portraits for clients.  My intrepretive drawings are usually very playful and colorful and are hand painted in photoshop.   Very much one of a kind.

As a person, I am many things... I am an avid reader, a lover of travel (which tends to be day and weekend trips these days with such a busy schedule) an EXTREME lover of pets and animals and a singer songwriter.  I even play in a band when time permits and my musical hobby is of of my favorite things to do.  (You can check me out at LilyOfTheSuburbs.com or on Facebook (Lily of the Suburbs) )

Jessica and Ben’s Wedding at Primrose Cottage, GA

Since the day I met them, I completely fell in love with these two adorable lovebirds. They are fun, fun and fit together like two peas in a pod. Their wedding pictures here chronicle a day that was emotional, loving and just so filled with details that are all about them… they had dancing shoes and delicious Kourambiethes … homemade traditional cookies. Their guest bid their adieus with themed pom-poms (his and hers for their colleges!) and they even put cuddly blankets at the tables outside for chilly guests. I had such an incredible time exploring their wedding day with my camera!

Irina - Oh Gosh! How beautiful! Just amazing...February 13, 2010 - 12:41 pm

Tricia King - Jessica, The pictures are amazing! I cannot tell you how thrilled we are with them and with the whole process. You were so much fun to work with and from engagement photos to bridal portraits to pictures of "the big day" the photos are just incredible. You managed to capture all of the excitment and emotion of the day and every detail so perfectly. And without us even knowing you were there! Jess and Ben's photos reflect exactly what led us to choose you as the photographer - your ability to capture the special moments so perfectly. Just looking at the photos you know exactly what everyone was feeling. Great job and we look forward to using your services again!January 8, 2010 - 10:36 am
